solaris-backup is used only by its owner, to back up the owner's own server. It is not offered to the public.
The app requests only the Google Drive drive.file scope. With this scope it can create, read, update and delete only the files and folders it creates itself. It cannot see or access any other files, email, contacts or account information.
The app uploads encrypted backup files to the owner's Google Drive and reads them back when a restore is needed. Files are encrypted before upload.
No data is sold, shared with or transferred to any third party. No data is used for advertising or analytics.
Backup files stay in the owner's Google Drive until the owner deletes them. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account's Third-party apps and services page, which also stops the app from accessing those files.
solaris-backup's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
